It's been a year since the tournament in Acceleron City. Toni is at her desk looking at racing news on her computer. She scrolls through looking at all of them regarding her team. She sighs & looks at the picture of the last time she was with Element, Viper & Fumiko as Laura walks in. "Hey Toni, reminiscing?" "Yeah, it's been a year since they've been gone." Toni says. "I wish we could tell them how we've been doing." "I know what you mean. Why don't we go back to Acceleracer city?" Laura suggests. "We can have a little vacation, reminisce & look at old footage." "I wouldn't mind that." Toni smiles. "Let's go get Michael." She gets up & they head to the garage. They get in their cars & head to Michael’s apartment. Michael is outside waxing his car when they roll up. He walks over to their cars as they roll down their window. "What's up?" "We're gonna head to Acceleron city & want to bring you along." Laura says. "Well I can't say no to that." "Well come on then."

The morning after the last realm, everyone but Michael was eating breakfast in the hotel restaurant. "So the tournament ends in a 3 way tie." Laura says. "Indeed." Element says. "So now that we've gotten this far, how do we activate the Ultimate race?" "Well you have to get all the Accelechargers together." Toni says. "The combined energy will make a shockwave starting the race." "Sounds interesting, but before we do that I have to give Michael some nitrox." Viper says, wiping her mouth. "It's finally that time?" A few days had passed since the race. The streets were quiet, as the wheel rotated slowly in the midnight sky. The racers were sleeping peacefully, when suddenly the alarm activates. Over at the hotel, Viper and Fumiko get startled awake when the alarm sounds and slowly gets up. Element throws a remote at the intercom breaking both of them, silencing it and goes back to sleep. Fumiko and Viper meet each other in the elevator and ride it down to the garage. They see Element's car unoccupied when they walk out. "Should we go back and wake him up?" Fumiko asks. "Never disturb him when he's sleeping," Viper says, walking to her car. On the other side of the city, Laura and Toni were slowly getting out of bed. Toni was putting on her shoes when her exhaustion gets the better of her. She falls back onto her bed and falls asleep. Laura passes by her room and sees her asleep. She closes the door and heads to her car. Michael was in a deep sleep. He was having a nightmare

While the race was going on, Element and the others were heading towards the next realm opening up. “So who do you think is going to win the race?” Fumiko asks. “Pretty sure Toni's got this," Laura says. They see he isn't connected to their voice chat, as he uses his nitrox and goes through the portal. The girls follow suit and use theirs. They enter the portal and are greeted by harsh winds. Ahead of them was a dust storm with various debris heading their way. Element presses his pedal to the floor dodging the debris with great precision. Viper notices him starting to pull away. Element, Fumiko, and Viper cruise around exploring the city after the race. It was a racer's paradise from the different tracks to the restaurants to try. "This is amazing," Element says. "To think we found all this from a desert ruins," Viper says looking in awe. "My father would never believe me if I told him about this", Fumiko says. "Well this is fun in all, but where are we going to sleep?" Viper asks. "Why don't we find an apartment or hotel with a Penthouse suite? Winner gets the suite until the next realm." Element suggests. Love your comic! I can tell this is Hot Wheels Acceleracers, but when does this happen before or Ultimate Race. And it looks like a lot time passed like new characters, the newer cars from the major manufacturers like Nissan, Ford, Chevrolet, and a few others, and in one of the pictures in the comic I saw what appeared to be an older version of Nolo! But what happened to Vert? And if members of the old teams just sat down got married, started families of their own, and just given up on find him. Did Vert take the rains of leading the Silencerz from his dad when he retired and what happed with the Drones and why were Acceleron ruins doing in the desert?

Ayyyy my man, thanks for commenting. All characters are mine but only 2 of them have affiliation with the original characters. So my head canon for Acceleracers since it ended so abruptly. This happens exactly 20 years after the events if Ultimate race. My canon is that the Silencerz, after getting Vert & the wheel of powers from the drones, Solved the new puzzle with the wheel & destroyed the drones once & for all. After they solved the puzzle with the new wheel the original 3 ringed wheel ceased to exist & a new puzzles came about in an unknown place. Vert is still missing but a legend in those racer's eyes. While Tesla went back in researching, the others went to San Aston to reground their roots since they were gone for so long. If you noticed Taro & Karma got together as well as Nolo & Lani. After things settled, they went back out to pick up looking for Vert while Element mentors Toni, per Nolo's request. there's a few details I've might have missed but thats the summary.. This is supposed to be more racing drama than anything

So Vert still out there somewhere if I’m correct. But I know one thing good and evil exist in balance. However, with the drones destroyed for good that leaves a power vacuum in the balance of power which means a new enemy could rise up and the next generation must handle this. Some race even more ancient that the Accelerons!
